The Babaylans tried to build up the male statue that represents Lalo to bring him back to his original gender, but something is not right as the spell that they are casting seemed not to work.
Lola had a brief change in her voice, and the growth of an adam's apple, due to the spell that the Babaylans are putting on the statue. Is Lola's love for Facundo stopping the Babaylans' spell?
Apparently, the Babaylans can never bring the statue back as a whole because Sera had a piece of the statue.
