"Stairway to Heaven" is GMA's Philippine drama adaptation of a Korean drama with the same name; directed by Joyce E. Bernal and developed by Dode Cruz, their third team-up after the highly-successful MariMar and Dyesebel.The cast includes Dingdong Dantes, Rhian Ramos, Glaiza de Castro and TJ Trinidad reprising the characters Cholo, Jodi, Eunice and Tristan.


Synopsis

Jodi (Rhian Ramos) and Cholo (Dingdong Dantes) grew up together. They were always there for each other. Tragedy begins when Cholo begins his studies overseas without Jodi. Jodi's father and architect Jovan (Jestoni Alarcon) remarries a gold-digging actress Maita (Jean Garcia), who takes in her two children, Tristan (TJ Trinidad) and Eunice (Glaiza de Castro), from a previous marriage with Dindo (Soliman Cruz). Eunice is envious of the life that Jodi leads and is determined to take everything away from her, including Cholo. Tristan begins to develop feelings for his stepsister, however Jodi still loves Cholo.

Five years later, tragedy occurs when Jodi gets into a car accident causing her to lose her memory. Together with Tristan, they start anew. Jodi is led to believe that she is dead. However, when they meet again one day, he is determined to remind her of the love they had for one another.
